“A Season Of Joy And Giving”
‘Tis the season! On December 2, 2023, the Serafin V. Aguilar Chapter No. 10, Order of DeMolay, in collaboration with Kanlaon Lodge No.64, F.&A.M., FOCUS, and Ms. Malu Gacoma joined forces for a heartwarming Christmas Outreach at Purok Mabuhay, Sagay City.
The joint efforts resulted in the distribution of sports equipment and food, marking the beginning of the Christmas season. The barangay hosted an ECO-PARTY, featuring the remarkable talents of both young kids and the elderly, expressing their gratitude. Following the program, residents, both young and old, shared a hearty meal, giving a sense of warmth and camaraderie. The event concluded with a gift-giving session for each resident, ensuring that the Christmas spirit resonated throughout the community as the new Christmas season unfolded.
In the end, the joint organisations were able to give out to 98 families including 41 elderly, 38 girls below 12 years old, 24 boys below 12 years old, 2 PWDs, and 55 other children aged 13 to 25 years old.
