“𝐖𝐞 𝐝𝐨.”

These were the proclamation of pledges of the brethren of Serafin V. Aguilar Chapter No. 10, Order of DeMolay, as the promised to work hard, and strive earnestly and honestly for the good of the order in front of DeMolay brothers, Jobie sisters, dadmasons, family, and friends during the 111th Public Installation of Officers on July 6.

With the theme, “𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒂𝒔𝒕, 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒃𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆”, the new term brings a fresh start drawn from the past strengths. Traditions from long ago shall integrate with modern ideas as the Serafin V. Aguilar Chapter enters a new chapter in its history.

As the installation team, led by Bro. Kyle Balbin installed the brethren in their newly elected and appointed positions. The wave of new leadership and opportunities sparks a renewed flame in the seven candles that shine within each DeMolay.

As the line from the Ceremony of Lights goes, “…𝒂𝒔 𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒂𝒏 𝑶𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝑫𝒆𝑴𝒐𝒍𝒂𝒚, 𝒘𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒐𝒏𝒆.” The presence of all visiting brethren, dadmasons, sisters, family, friends, and guests is a testament to the spirit of DeMolay – united, never broken.

As the brethren say yes to a new term and new leadership, may the lessons of the past continue to guide each DeMolay in the present and strengthen the future to come.
